Every detail was done to perfection - and bearing in mind this was during the depths of covid that’s very impressive. There was nothing they weren’t happy to try and facilitate. Floral orders were particularly challenging at that time, where stock and availability was very poor - yet they moved mountains to include our requested purple theme. So much care and humility given to their very personalized service. James and the team were available at every turn to help guide us through our difficult time. They were able to effectively cater to our requests within the very restricted covid rules. Ca

As others have said, a little strange to review a funeral service however, if it helps someone in need. We met James and Ben a fee days before our son passed away. They are truly fantastic people who bring a sense of relief in your darkest moments. When they came to take our son to pastured new, they introduced themselves to him which was a lovely touch. They stayed in contact with us every day to check we were ok. They truly do need a medal for their hard work and dedication to the families they help each and every day. Thank you for going above and beyond. The chapel of rest is beautiful,

What an amazing, caring service we received from Jakes Benedict Funeral Services. They were extremely professional, so thoughtful and took care of everything. We felt so at ease knowing our dad was in safe hands, and the ceremony was so beautiful. We couldn't have wished for anything else, it was perfect in every way. Thank you so much for your assistance at such a sad time.

I was very disappointed after speaking with my family that actually our loved one clearly didn't have the best care. Embalming was paid for but the mouth was still partially open, eye lid droopy on one side. When I called was told to ring back. I did. Sent 3 courtesy emails about wanting the full disclosure and recieved nothing in return. Safe to say it's left an impression on my family and for that reason I can't recommend

As another reviewer has stated. Our family member (uncle) was paid to be embalmed and dressed. This we question if it happened. The dress side was ok and he looked OK. The actual face of my uncle look stretched and wax like. I approached the funeral attendent who said to contact Gareth about any issues. Still awaiting a reply.
