Absolute nightmare for months caused by someone having a "bad day" My grandad had a Sunlife funeral plan with a co-op element to it. When he passed I followed his wishes and contacted the co-op to arrange his cremation. I was asked to go in to make arrangements and when asked if I was able to pay today I mentioned his funeral costs were covered by the policy. I was then told that wasn't correct and that I had to pay upfront for it and they wouldn't claim the funds from the policy. As this was my first time dealing with a death in the family and also my first time organising a funeral/cremati
