Chris, the funeral arranger, is really good at what he does; He listens, advises and guides with kindness and respect. Steven the funeral director, guided us through the day itself with the same level of professionalism. The celebrant suggested by Chris, Terri, was kind and listened to what we said with about my Dad. She made the service a true celebration and what we asked for.I would recommend them to anyone in the Guildford area.

I decided to use Alan Greenwood & Sons for my mother's funeral three years ago, when I had to decide on a funeral plan if my very elderly mother should die whilst I was on holiday overseas. Of the three funeral directors I approached, Chris at Alan Greenwood was the most helpful. Chris helped with answers to questions and explained about matters I hadn't covered, especially when my mother died this year and there were legal matters to deal with. Chris recommended a celebrant to take the service who, again was very helpful and did a wonderful job on the day. The staff on the day of the funeral
