My contact with F A Albins began crisply with a phone call, 'Could they take on a funeral on a specific day , at a specific time, in a specific place.' And less than five minutes later with the answer 'Yes we can' all the stress and uncertainty evaporated. All my conversations however important or trivial were met with a caring, considerate, 'can do' response and sensitive guidance, drawing on their long years of experience, where requested or appropriate. I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful combination of professionalism and compassion with which you handled the funeral of my dear husband. Very thankful to Elaine and the whole team at the Deptford branch! We really appreciate all your hard work in planning such a well organised funeral for our dear Uncle. Elaine and her colleague in the office were so helpful and respectful before and after the funeral. The team did an excellent, caring, very professional job on the day. Lead man (?Chris) kept us well informed and was so courteous and gentle with us. Whole team were sensitive and very respectful. Very highly recommend this funeral director!

Would have given them 5* but what their pallbearer co-ordinator Jamie did still pains me deeply till today. He denied my husband a perfect befitting burial. The wreath that was to be placed on the casket was not at all placed telling me the wreath would not sit well on the casket. The wreath was bought to be placed on the casket. The casket just laid bare in the church. Throughout the ceremony no placing of the wreath until when my husband was laid to the ground. I have the picture. Secondly he removed the plumes on the horses cos it drizzled a bit on the day and the plumes were not replaced o
