I would like to say that my family and I were so impressed with the way that Smiths Funeral Directors dealt with our loss. Ruth guided us through the various aspects and we felt so comfortable. All the staff were compassionate, kind and extremely considerate. We could not fault anything.
On the day, once again the compassion they showed was second to none. Any worries that we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I can only say “thankyou for making this sad time somewhat more bearable” The service was amazing, with so many comments on how well it was run. This was down to the knowledge

Would like to say a big Thank you to everyone at Smiths for the excellent service we received after losing my mum just before Christmas.
My husband and I met Ruth to make all of the arrangements and found her kind and caring nature second to none at a particularly difficult time for us.
We chose to have a small memorial service in the Courthouse at Smiths and Ruth put us in touch with Sid, who helped us to organise the day.
The service was organised exactly as we wanted with music and a photo tribute put together perfectly, Thank you to everyone involved with this.

My dad and I didn't have a clue what to do how to go about it or where to even start.
We were told Smiths are really good.
So I made that phone call with my dad and spoke to Peter he was incredibly helpful and went through everything we needed to do and how to do it and what to expect.
There wasn't at any point at all any mention of us going with them he said "whoever you choose to go with" we didn't feel pressured at any point.
Peter was professional kind and considerate.
When we arrived at our appointment we were early (1hour) they showed us to a room and checked on us to see if we were ok.

Smiths Funeral Directors continued to show that same kindness throughout, especially by allowing my mum to visit my dad as often as she needed, which brought her so much comfort. Sid Bridges was an exceptional celebrant, thoughtful, genuine, and able to capture my dad perfectly.
