After Richard arranged my father's funeral eight years ago we had no hesitation in contacting him when my mother died. Richard is very professional but also very kind and compassionate. He was very responsive to all of our needs and could not do enough for us. He made the whole process so much easier and we would highly recommend him. Richard made himself available whenever we needed him and we can't thank him enough.

Very disappointed that a professional Funeral Director withheld payment for the Church, Minister and Stewards for a funeral he’d arranged. When payments were made (some a year later after three complaints to the SAIF ombudsman) one of the cheques bounced. I would NOT recommend Richard Bird Funeral Services.
