Alas, not my first funeral in recent years but, again, such reliable, empathetic and helpful service from Pippa at in Forest Row and all at Ballard & Shortall. We agreed an apt service arrangement that was a little different - all went smoothly, professionally, and respectfully. Thank you

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Everything went really smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. From Pippa in the office to the men who came with the Hearse, they were all great. We felt they dealt with us with dignity and compassion, at this incredibly sad time for us.

Pippa at Ballard & Shortall kindly arranged my daughters funeral in 2018 and more recently , June 2025 , my husbands. Nothing was too much or couldn't be arranged as i wanted it. Pippa was available either by phone, e mail or i could pop in and sorted anything that cropped up. Special thanks also go to Paul and his team for making the day go smoothly and put everyone at their ease especially my grandson who wasn't sure how he would be on the day. They are a wonderful bunch of people who go that extra mile for you. Special, excellent customer service.

I found the service from Pippa and all to be supportive, timely, collaborative, efficient and tailored to suit our needs and unique requests. Ballard & Shortall utilised great experience and resources so were able to advise confidently at all times across a range of queries, which gave reassurance and helped decision making.
