My brother and myself would like to express a huge thank you to everyone at Mcgoughs but particularly Alan who guided us all the way through a very difficult and sad time as we organised the funeral of our beloved mother in December 2025. Whether it was whilst communicating by phone or in person. It was necessary for my Mum to be collected from Hampshire and taken home to Stoke for her burial. This was done with utter professionalism, empathy and dignity. They co ordinated with the Catholic priest who lead the mass at Our Lady of the Angels and St Peter in Chains with whom they had a very good

Sadly I’m now at an age where I’m thinking about my own funeral. Though I no need to look very far. McGoughs, like lots of other reviews, have looked after generations of our family. The last being 2001. They’ve made sure our final goodbyes have also been our one last painful, but last memory made. So when thinking about my own funeral wishes the only place I want to go to is here. Thank you for nearly 40yrs of looking after my family. You’ve helped us to navigate one of our most painful times in our lives. When we are still reeling from Grief you have been by our side with your guiding hands
