I have never done a google review before but I feel like I need to give something back after the care, support, advice and help I received from West Derby Funeral care, this was my first funeral I had to arrange and sadly it was my lovely mums.
I was lost, heartbroken and I did not know were to start then I spoke to Chris who helped me so so much. Chris has been my rock and my comfort blanket from start to finish, the care and support for myself and my mum received was outstanding!
I genuinely mean this from the bottom of my heart I couldn't of done it without you Chris thank you!

We had a direct cremation for my dad which meant that we could say goodbye in our own way, which my dad wanted. Chris, Louise and Mark thank you so much, your care and thoughtfulness brought me so much comfort during such a difficult time. Mark you were spectacular choosing Lonnie Donegan for the music, one of my dad’s favourites, he would have loved that. You talked me through every step of what was going to happen and checked in to see if I was ok. Above and beyond service, and compassion, thank you all again so very much.

What can We say except All at West derby funeralcare went above and beyond especially Mark. Our precious baby boy Emilio Jayce passed away during birth at 23+4 on the 9/8/2023. His big brother Jayce passed away at birth on 11/1/2019. We only wished we used west derby funeralcare for Jayces funeral as we did not get the option to bring him home. But west derby funeralcare let us visit Emilio with a open coffin. And Mark brought him home the night before his funeral. We got to spend some time with him. Then the morning of the funeral Mark opened up his coffin so we could give him one last kiss t

The care and understanding we recieved with the loss of my son was unbelievable, everything was explained in detail and we were given options we didnt know about, my sons photos of his lifes journey completley covering his coffin was something we never thought about, all the phone calls just to check we were o k, you all helped us so much , you eased my pain knowing my son was in your care, Thank you Sophie, Joan , Joanne and all at west derby funeral care, Hazel, Nick + Paddy. family of Tony Leech. Sending your loved one off is supposed to be a sad time but with support from your funeral director it should make it easier for your loved ones
Coop didn’t do this, mistakes were made from start to finish which caused unnecessary stress and pain staff were sacked in the process due to incompetence
As it stands I would not buy a tin of beans from co op
