Co-op Funeralcare were fantastic. Funny word to use for organising a funeral but they took the stress out of a very difficult time for our family. Andrea in the office was kind and organised everything On the day the funeral director was everything you could want. Overall if you need their services they’re highly recommended.

Generally the service provided was good. Andrea was very understanding and patient with my sister and I when we had our first meeting. Some of the information given at that meeting was changed later in the process. I was told that if we did not want the canvas that the cost of this could be offset against something else but when we decided we didn't want it we were told we couldn't do this. Andrea did not tell us that she would be away on holiday when our funeral was due to take place and I do feel that this should have been divulged sooner than it was. Initially follow up correspondence was

If my mum hadn’t have had a policy already with these funeral directors I’d have looked elsewhere! They were good with my dad’s funeral but I waited weeks before mum came there, it was very distressing and she wasn’t even there a full week before the funeral. I feel very let down by them.

From the moment the door was unlocked at the Crosby branch, where we had a pre-arranged appointment, Leanne told us repeatedly that this was not her branch and she didn't know where anything was kept. Personally, I'd have prepared the forms in advance of the appointment especially in this industry. We were asked to complete the forms and asked to pay £1350.00 (direct cremation) for which we were given a receipt. Two days later, after several missed calls during the registering of the deceased, we called Co-op and Leanne informed us that she had forgotten that the prices had increased a while a

The WORST place to organise a funeral ever, such disregard for the sensitive job they are handling. The door was locked when we arrived and waited outside for at least 5 minutes, we had made an appointment so there was no need. No knowledge of the services and what is to offer, told us things were not available when in fact they were. Incorrect birthdays of my grandparents posted in the paper and the wrong date of the funeral even though we provided everything correctly. I am genuinely disgusted with this coop and the staff. You organise funerals the least you can do is be remotely helpful at
