Went to see my Mum today.
Losing your Mum is the worst and most painful experience of my life. Of anyone’s life. No matter the circumstance.
Luckily I had my Wife Kirsty supporting me. Literally.
I was welcomed by a lovely lady.
I explained that I wasn’t given the chance to see my Mum in hospital, and was unable to say my goodbye to her before her passing.
The lady gave me a lovely smile and said that I can do that now. And I had all the time I needed.
Nothing prepares you. Nothing.
That’s my Mum.
She was well cared for.
Silly I know but you do worry about your loved one being alone

They executed his funeral with dignity and respect. I am a Celebrant, based quite far away in Hertfordshire, and I took the service. Its was a pleasure to work alongside their wonderful FD and all the rest of the teams there.
