All staff seemed genuinely compassionate and full of empathy even though they do this all the time. I couldn't have asked for more in any way. You made the hardest journey and day of my life, something to be proud of and bearable. Thank you

We, as a Family would like to thank the Chester le Street Coop Funeral Care Team, for both the fantastic support & Funeral arranged for my Brother, Stanley Arthur Atkinson, who’s Funeral took place on Monday 2nd June, 2025. From the first point of contact, everything was perfect – communication, attention to detail, the Funeral itself, all was faultless. We would like to thank the entire Team, who were professional in every way & gave my Brother, Arthur, the upmost respect & the send off that he deserved & one we are proud of. Special thanks to Phil, who is a credit to your organization – he

Communications were sometimes a little difficult as personnel were not always available, but generally were well-handled. Execution of the funeral on the day was superb and beyond our expectations.
